Center for Progressive Wellness in San Diego

The Center for Progressive Wellness’ parent company, Center for Positive Changes (CFPC), first opened its doors in 1999 with the mission of helping children in foster care work through their emotional, physical, behavioral, and family problems. Children placed in these homes receive mental health treatment from licensed clinicians and through ongoing connections to community support and aftercare programs that give them a chance to build a supportive and healthy network around themselves. Over the years, CFPC has collaborated with various community organizations to facilitate substance use treatment to our youth and their families. Through these collaborations, CFPC has recognized the need to create a comprehensive outpatient substance use program with an approach that incorporates various treatment, wellness, and healing modalities. With this vision and commitment, the Center for Progressive Wellness strives to provide trustworthy, compassionate, and professional treatment to adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.

We offer several levels of care and help our clients transition back to sobriety by promoting healthy coping skills, helping them build healthy relationships, and connecting them with community resources. Our goal is to create and promote a substance use services continuum of best treatment practices and health care that leads to positive behavior change and shifts their lives into becoming productive members of their community.
